That said, it’s still a team who don’t take themselves too seriously
Duties
The team keep a pace on to get items properly receipted and stored – and to get items back out the door when and where they’re needed.
As a senior in the team, you will keep tabs on where things are at, and you will regularly check on what your workmates are doing.
This is a hands on role, so that means that just like everyone else, you will pitch in across a range of duties that include the following:
Stock management
Pricing stock (books)
Admin
Consignment notes
Palletizing
Picking
Splitting
Packing
Pay rate
Upwards from $30.00 per hour
As per experience

What you need to have
In your past warehousing roles you will be someone who has taken pride in how products are stored, and in the accuracy of stock management and outward goods.
For this role, the employer is looking for someone with common sense and these personal qualities.
Above all, you will be prepared to roll up your sleeves and do what’s needed to get the job done well
You will be energetic
You will be physically fit (you will regularly be lifting 15kg items)
Day-to-day, you’ll be more likely to see things as ‘glass half full’ rather than ‘glass half empty’
You’ll lead by example
You might enjoy a bit of friendly banter or rivalry
You will be able to take a joke – and to laugh at yourself
