About the Role

As the Regional Administrator, you'll provide vital administrative support to the Training Manager who oversees training delivery across the South Island.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this varied and critical role, you will support around 20 trainers throughout the South Island.

  • Approximately half of your time may be spent preparing written material that their trainees will refer to.

  • Being up to speed on upcoming courses and the resource requirements for each, you will ensure that the right resources are in place, on time.

  • When trainees arrive on site, you will help to make the feel welcome.

Your Skills and Experience

As indicated already, this company provides training that saves lives.  And as trainees learn new skills that help them succeed in their chosen employment – then, that also changes lives. So, we are looking for a very special someone who is both:

  • An exceptional organiser AND

  • Wants to see people progress in life

We envisage that you will enjoy interacting with others and helping them to succeed. The following will be second nature to you:

  • Superb time management

  • Methodical approach, consistency and being someone who can be counted on

  • Being self-motivated – yet also, quick to ask when something is unclear

  • Solutions focussed

  • Highly attentive to detail

  • Having a love of technology and using it to its best advantage

  • Strong general keyboard skills and computer literacy

  • A good understanding of the South Island (and an idea of the time it may take to get supplies from one site to another)
