Animal feed production

 

Help make grain & pellet stock feed and get it dispatched to rural customers in the Waikato and Auckland regions

Our client employer has been around for decades.  They provide a quality feed product to the agricultural sector and families living on lifestyle blocks.

Duties

  • Production of pellet and grain feed

  • Operate pellet press

  • Operate meal production plant

  • Weigh and load ingredients

  • Monitor the process and product output

  • Maintain the silo grain storage area

  • Keep accurate records of production and stock movement

  • Keep production and storage areas clean, safe and free of pests

 

Hours of work

  • Monday to Friday

  • 42.5 hours per week

  • Occasional Saturday over-time (maybe 4 or 5 times a year – just when busy)

 

Wages

  • As per experience

  • Occasional over-time is paid at time-and-a-half
