The ideal candidate
This role was written for someone with extensive vocational education experience – whose passion is to design the delivery of learning in a way that students can most easily grasp.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of New Zealand vocational education approval body requirements, accreditation standards, funding conditions and industry best practices.
The ideal applicant will possess a natural curiosity. And this – coupled with your considerable experience in adult education – will equip you to ask, “What does ‘good’ look like in an educational organisation?”
Overseeing the Learning & Development team, you will grow their confidence to similarly embrace innovation, continuous learning and improvement.
Recognising the different learning styles of students – and the scope that a diverse range of programmes affords – you will not be afraid to question the traditional methods of teaching delivery, and to test, assess and refine new approaches.
It is envisaged that you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and a proven track record of planning and project managing directed outcomes.
