The role
Due to growth, our client employer is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to help take their brand to the next level.
In this role you would be contributing to both Marketing and Learning & Development resources and collateral, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.
The aim of this role is to create visually appealing and effective materials that engage and inform learners, clients and stakeholders.
Elevating brand recognition, whilst aligning to VHNZ’s brand guidelines, will assist in organisational growth and foster meaningful engagement with the company’s stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
You will enjoy collaborating with the Marketing Team, as you design visually appealing, consistent, and effective marketing materials including – but not limited to:
Flyers / brochures
Posters
Print Ads
Large Scale Print Banners
Digital and social media assets
Training centre signage
Catalogues
Presentations
Ensure all design work is aligned with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity across all channels
The Learning and Design team will appreciate your assistance to design visually appealing, engaging, and accessible learning materials for both face to face and online learning, including but not limited to:
Training Guides
Trainer support materials
Posters
Further variety includes that you will:
Assist with videography and photography as required
Stay on trends and design best practices to bring innovative ideas to the table
Proactively look for opportunities to improve how the brand shows up in brand communications across all areas in the business
Salary package
Salary plus additional employee benefits:
· Range $60,000 - $75,000 (as per exper)
· Paid Southern Cross membership
· Company shares via dividend
· Paid volunteer leave
The person we’re looking for
Ideally, you will be someone willing to give most things a go.
That said, there may be times when colleagues outside of the Marketing team ask for something that isn’t in line with the company’s brand. So, your agility will extend to working with others to manage expectations, whilst achieving a brand consistent outcome that meets your colleagues’ needs.
To be effective in this role, we are looking for someone who can say yes to the following:
A degree or diploma in Graphic Design
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience
Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Team player who is willing to get stuck in and help the business deliver its ambitions
Experience with videography, animation, 3D modelling, or photography would be a bonus
