General Hand / Labourer

Hours of work 

• Monday to Friday

• 42.5 hours per week

• Occasional Saturday over-time (maybe 4 or 5 times a year – just when busy)

Wages 

• From $25.00 per hour

• As per experience

• PLUS occasional paid over-time (time-&-a-half)

A bit of background

• Down to earth team who pitch in to help each other get the job done

• Reliable hours

• Monday to Friday

• Rural south (close to Bombay & Pokeno)

How long will the role go for?

Fixed term contract

• Immediate start

• To approx December 2023 (seasonal busy period)

About the job

Can you do the following? 

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Assist with bagging 25kg quantities of a feed product

• Keeping production and warehouse spaces clean

• Drive a forklift (2.5 tonne)

What you need to have 

• A helpful, friendly outlook

• Reliable transport (due to company’s rural location)

• Be physically fit (able to lift 25kg bags)

• Forklift certificate optional – company can assist with this if you want to get it

• A track record of being a reliable employee
