Duties

This important role will have responsibilities across a range of functions, including: 

  • Health & Safety

  • Dispatch of bulk product

  • Dispatch of bagged product

  • Management of pallets on hire and for return

  • Logging of all inwards trucks, couriers and visitors to site

  • Testing and compliance of raw ingredients and finished product prior to dispatch (as per company and FeedSafe NZ accreditation)

 

 What you need to have

 We are looking for someone who can make themselves useful in the quieter seasons and who will absolutely thrive on the pace of it all in months when production is at capacity.

 

As well as this, you need to be: 

  • Friendly, yet assertive

  • Incredibly attentive to detail

  • Able to write clearly and legibly

  • Someone who likes order – who communicates regularly with others, so they are also well informed about stock, product and site movements

  • Energetic

  • Physically fit

  •  A forkhoist licence would be advantageous (though the employer may be able to assist with training to obtain this).
