What does the role consist of?
If you are someone who likes to take ownership of a ledger, then great!
You will look after a regional portfolio of accounts
You will maintain a relationship with those customers from the very beginning (when they first apply for credit), through keeping them on track with payment
On those occasions when it becomes necessary, you may refer the account to a third party for collection – and you will then be their point of contact as they work to achieve a suitable outcome
Hours of work
40 hours per week
Option to work ½ an hour longer per day – to then have every second Friday afternoon off
Some flexibility in start & finish times
Work from home 2 or 3 days per week
What you need to have
Credit Control & risk assessment experience
Familiarisation with NZ’s anti money laundering law and requirements
A friendly, constructive approach with customers
A positive team spirit
The ability to work out and keep on top of changing work priorities
Drive to maintain a solid collection rate
Clear spoken and written communication
Computer literacy including quick, accurate keyboard skills and MS Excel (intermediate plus)
