The role
This important role sits within a centralised admin team who are based in Upper Hutt. Together, the team ensures that the academic records of some 60,000 students annually are captured accurately.
Credentialing
You will process and maintain:
Programme and short course data entry using the company’s in-house student management system
Enrolment details
Assessment marks
The issuing of certificates nationally
Checking prerequisites and other award requirements for standards, micro credentials and qualifications
Quality Assurance / Moderation:
Complete sample moderation as part of the credentialing process
Produce sample moderation reports
What you need to have
We are particularly keen to hear from you if you have:
Polished customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Clear written and spoken communication
Confidence using MS office, e.g. Excel and Outlook
Additionally, do you have the following professional skills?
In addition to the above, the following would be beneficial (though note, the company may be able to upskill in these areas).
Experience in ensuring compliance and/or moderation
Previous educational admin with use of a Student Management System and NZQA or TEC
If undertaking sample moderation, you will need to have (or be able to gain) unit standard 11551 Moderate Assessments – note: the employer can provide the training necessary to obtain this qualification
