Company Accountant
Our client is the NZ leader in the provision of machinery and other gear used widely in the construction industry.
The context
Our client leads the way nationally in the provision of machinery and other gear used widely in the construction industry.
With a range of equipment that could not easily be rivalled, they have further set themselves apart with a commitment to the highest standards of professional service – both to their valued customers and the many internal colleagues, on whom they rely.
This role may stretch even a fairly seasoned Accountant, with several years’ experience.
It is not a graduate position.
Although senior in the organisation, you will remain actively in tune with the day-to-day operational requirements and cash flow, and you will lead discussions with a forward focus.
For non-financial colleagues, you will break complex data into practical components that will help them to ensure the best return on investment in the areas that they have responsibility for or influence over.
You will mentor, support and inspire a small admin team to perform at their best and you will train them to see their contribution in the bigger picture.
