About the Role 

As an Accounts Administrator, you'll provide vital administrative support to their Head of Business Services and Accounts Team Leader.

Your role involves accurate and timely financial data entry, managing accounts receivable and payable, and assisting in monthly financial consolidations.

This ensures the preparation of comprehensive management accounts for the company’s Senior Leadership Team, aiding informed decision-making and maintaining the financial integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities 

Collections Management (40%) 

  • Manage and recover outstanding debts 

  • Liaise with the Accounts Team Leader to gather information and contact clients for debt collection 

  • Negotiate repayment plans, adhering to debt collection laws and VHNZ guidelines 

  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and actions

Financial Accounting and Administration (60%) 

  • Process creditor and debtor invoices accurately 

  • Manage Xero administration and ensure complete and accurate contact details 

  • Assist with various tasks and projects as directed by the Accounts Team Leader

Your Skills and Experience 

  • Relevant Accounts Administration qualification or experience 

  • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially 

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Xero, Microsoft Office, LMS, CRM, and other financial software 

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
